2007 Guangzhou Artwork Investment and Collections Expo

Preface

On November 26^th, 2006, "The first Guangzhou Collection Expo" successfully concluded in Guangzhou Gymnasium’s Exhibition Center. The Expo attracted more than 400 paintings, handicrafts, classical furniture –makers and collectors from China mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Europe, the United States and other countries and regions.  The variety and number of exhibits were the biggest in the Expo’s history. Visitor’ numbers reached more than 20,000. It became the famous domestic art collectors’ event of 2006. As an important part of Guangzhou Collection Expo, “Artworks Investment and Collections Expo” attracted the participation of more than 100 artists of calligraphy , painting, handicraft, artwork proprietorof archaized and sculpture, from home and abroad.

“Guangzhou Collections Expo 2007” is sponsored by China International Association of Collections and is organized by Weipeng Exhibition Guangzhou Co., LTD. It will be held from 23^rd to 26^th, November, 2007 in Guangzhou Gymnasium’s Exhibition Center. The Expo is strongly supported and assisted by collections, associations and antique markets all over the country including many  arts collections, Medias and general collections enthusiasts. During the exhibition many precious artworks auctions will be organized.

The main targert ausdience of the exhibition is the extensive and powerful collector group from southern China region, centred at Guangzhou. Moreover, it will give full play to the sponsors’ powerful international network advantage. This will include inviteing the participation of artworks operators, antique operation organizations, collectors, collection enthusiasts, and home decoration companies. . During the exhibition, the  “Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan collectors’ Antique Fair”, the “World Tang, Song, Yuan Dynasty Porcelain Fair” and the“Chinese Collections Auction” will be convened. It is expected that the number of participants will be more than 30,000.
